Ges\u00f9 ha rivelato a Padre Dolindo le parole che compongono questa <a href=\"https:\/\/hallow.com\/blog\/how-to-pray-novenas\/\">novena<\/a>. Padre Dolindo, che si auto-definiva &#8220;il vecchietto di Maria&#8221;, visse una vita piena di sofferenze. Fu persino paralizzato per gli ultimi dieci anni della sua vita. Fu anche, un tempo, direttore spirituale e amico di <a href=\"https:\/\/hallow.com\/2022\/09\/15\/padre-pio-prayers-feast-day\/\">Padre Pio<\/a>, che come lui trov\u00f2 l&#8217;amore di Cristo nella sua sofferenza. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Sia Padre Dolindo che Padre Pio ci hanno lasciato tante parole e preghiere che ci guidano ad abbandonare le nostre vite a Cristo. Ci ispirano anche ad andare sempre incontro agli altri con misericordia e amore, cose che loro stessi hanno mostrato facendoci vedere il loro abbanono a Cristo e il Suo amore per noi. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Quando preghiamo questa novena dell&#8217;abbandono, meditiamo sulle stesse parole che Ges\u00f9 ha dato a Padre Dolindo nel corso di nove giorni, parole in cui sentiamo Ges\u00f9 dirci che dobbiamo dare tutto noi stessi a Lui e <a href=\"https:\/\/hallow.com\/blog\/how-to-pray-the-litany-of-trust\/\">fidarci completamente di Lui<\/a> e del suo piano per noi. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"when-to-pray-surrender-novena\">Quando pregare la Novena dell&#8217;Abbandono?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"\">Ricorrete alla Novena dell&#8217;abbandono ogni volta che volete per prendervi cura di qualcosa da soli, con le forze sole forze, ogni volta che lottate per consegnare a Dio una preoccupazione, un dubbio o una sofferenza. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Pregate questa novena per dare tutto a Ges\u00f9 e dirgli: &#8220;Ges\u00f9, pensaci tu&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"why-pray-surrender-novena\">Perch\u00e9 pregare la Novena dell&#8217;Abbandono?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"\">La novena dell&#8217;abbandono \u00e8 una delle preghiere pi\u00f9 potenti che Ges\u00f9 ci ha dato. Ges\u00f9 ha raggiunto Padre Dolindo Ruotolo nel suo dolore, nella sua sofferenza e agonia, e nei suoi dubbi. E attraverso le parole che Ges\u00f9 gli ha dato, anche noi oggi possiamo incontrare Ges\u00f9. Preghiamo la Novena dell&#8217;abbandono perdiventare umili e riconoscere che non possiamo farcela da soli: abbiamo bisogno che Ges\u00f9 si prenda cura di noi e ci guidi nelle nostre vite. Comesi ripete tante volte nel corso di questa novena, noi preghiamo di ottenere questo spirito di abbandono per poter distogliere il nostro sguardo da noi stessi e porlo su quello di Ges\u00f9. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Come disse Santa Teresa di Lisieux, <strong><em>&#8220;Per me la preghiera \u00e8 uno slancio del cuore&#8230; \u00e8 un semplice sguardo rivolto al cielo, \u00e8 un grido di riconoscimento e di amore, che abbraccia sia la prova che la gioia&#8221;.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Questa novena di abbandono alla volont\u00e0 di Dio \u00e8 stata di un aiuto importantissimo per le persone che l&#8217;hanno pregata sull&#8217;app di Hallow. Qui sotto riportiamo due testimonianze di persone della nostra comunit\u00e0 di Hallow che ci parlano di come questa novena dell&#8217;abbandono gli ha aiutati:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>&#8220;Prima pensavo di non dover ringraziare Dio quando facevo qualcosa con le mie forze, riggentando il Signore e volvendo fare le cose solo a modo mio. Ogni giorno della novena, ascolta e rifletti sulle Sue parole e pensa a come ti sta conducendo alla un senso di pace e conforto nel corso di questi nove giorni e della tua vita intera. <\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\"><br><strong>Giorno 1<\/strong><br><em>Perch\u00e9 vi confondete le vostre menti preoccupandovi? Lasciate a me la cura delle vostre faccende e tutto sar\u00e0 tranquillo. Vi dico in verit\u00e0 che ogni atto di vero, cieco, completo abbandono a me produce l&#8217;effetto che desiderate e risolve tutte le situazioni difficili.<\/em><br><br><strong>Giorno 2<\/strong><br><em>Abbandonarsi a me non significa agitarsi, turbarsi o perdere la speranza, n\u00e9 significa offrirmi una preghiera preoccupata chiedendomi di seguirti e di trasformare la tua preoccupazione in preghiera. \u00c8 profondamente contrario a questo atto di affidamento preoccuparsi, essere agitati e voler pensare alle possibili conseguenze di qualsiasi cosa. <\/em><br><br><em>Un atteggiamento del genere ricorda la confusione che provano i bambini quando chiedono alla loro madre di aiutarli in qualcosa, ma poi cercano di occuparsene completamente da soli in modo tale che poi la madre non riesce ad aiutarli come si deve. Abbandonarsi a me significa chiuede gli occhi della propria anima con serenit\u00e0, distogliersi da quei pensieri ansoiosi e mettersi nelle mie mani, nella mia cura, cosicch\u00e8 il tuo agire sussiste essenialmente nel dire &#8220;pensaci tu&#8221;.<\/em><br><br><strong>Giorno 3<\/strong><br><em>Riesco a fare cos\u00ec tante cose quando un&#8217;anima, nel bisogno spiritual e materiale, mi guarda e mi dice: &#8220;Pensaci tu&#8221;, poi chiude gli occhi e si riposa. Nel dolore preghate che io agisca, ma che io agisca nel modo in cui voi volete. E facendo cos\u00ec non vi rivolgete a me, invece, volete che io mi adatti le vostre idee. Non siete persone malate che chiedono al medico come fare. Quindi non fate cos\u00ec, ma pregate come vi ho insegnato nel Padre Nostro: &#8220;Sia santificato il tuo Nome&#8221;, che per te significa dire &#8216; che Tu sia glorificato nel mio bisogno&#8217;. &#8220;Venga il tuo regno&#8221;, che significa che tutto ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 in noi e nel mondo sia in accordo con la tua volont\u00e0 per il tuo regno. &#8220;Sia fatta la tua volont\u00e0 come in cielo cos\u00ec in terra&#8221;, che significa per te dire: &#8220;Dio, nel mio bisogno, fai le scelte che pensi siano meglio per noi, sia per la nostra vita temporale che per quella eterna&#8221;. Se mi dite con sincerit\u00e0: &#8220;Sia fatta la tua volont\u00e0&#8221;, questo equivale a dire: &#8220;Pensaci tu&#8221;, Io interverr\u00f2 con tutta la mia onnipotenza e risolver\u00f2 le situazioni pi\u00f9 difficili.<\/em><br><br><strong>Giorno 4<\/strong><br><em>Vedete il male crescere invece che indebolirsi? Non preoccupatevi. Chiudi gli occhi e dimmi con fede: &#8220;Sia fatta la tua volont\u00e0, pensaci tu&#8221;. Vi dico che me ne occuper\u00f2 io, che interverr\u00f2 come fa un medico e che compir\u00f2 miracoli quando ce ne sar\u00e0 il bisogno. Vedete che il malato sta peggiorando? Non arrabbiatevi, ma chiudete gli occhi e dite: &#8220;Pensateci tu&#8221;. Vi dico che me ne occuper\u00f2 io e che non c&#8217;\u00e8 medicina pi\u00f9 potente del mio intervento amorevole. Con il mio amore, ti prometto questo.<\/em><br><br><strong>Giorno 5<\/strong><br><em>E poi vi dovr\u00f2 condurre su una strada diversa da quella che vedete, vi preparer\u00f2, vi porter\u00f2 in braccio, far\u00f2 s\u00ec che ritroviate voi stessi, come dei bambini che si sono addormentati tra le braccia della madre, sull&#8217;altra sponda del fiume. Ci\u00f2 che vi turba e vi fa immensamente male sono la vostra ragione, i vostri pensieri e le vostre preoccupazioni, il vostro desiderio di voler occuparsi a tutti i costi ci\u00f2 che vi affligge. <\/em><br><br><strong>Giorno 6  <\/strong><br><em>Siete insonni; volete giudicare tutto, dirigere tutto e vedere tutto e poi vi affidate alla forza umana, o peggio &#8211; agli uomini stessi, confidando nel loro aiuto &#8211; questo \u00e8 ci\u00f2 che ostacola le mie parole e la mia volont\u00e0. Oh, quanto desidero da voi questo atto di affidamento, cos\u00ec da poter aiutarvi; e quanto soffro quando vi vedo cos\u00ec agitati! Satana cerca di fare proprio questo: agitarvi, sottrarvi alla mia protezione e gettarvi nelle fauci dell&#8217;iniziativa umana. Quindi, confida solo in me, riposa in me, abbandonati a me in tutto. <\/em><br><br><strong>Giorno 7 <\/strong><br><em>Io compio miracoli in proporzione a quanto voi vi abbandoniate a me e a quanto non pensate a voi stessi. Semino tesori di grazie quando siete nella povert\u00e0 pi\u00f9 profonda. Nessuna persona di buon senso, nessun pensatore, ha mai fatto miracoli, nemmeno se questi sono santi. E&#8217; chi si affida completamente a Dio che compie opere divine. Quindi non pensarci pi\u00f9, perch\u00e9 la tua mente \u00e8 acuta ed \u00e8 per te molto difficile vedere il male e poi confidare in me e non pensare a te stesso. Fate questo per tutti i vostri bisogni, fate questo, tutti voi, e vedrete in continuit\u00e0 grandi miracoli silenziosi. Mi occuper\u00f2 di tutto, te lo prometto.<\/em><br><br><strong>Giorno 8 <\/strong><br><em>Chiudete gli occhi e lasciatevi trasportare dalla corrente della mia grazia; chiudete gli occhi e non pensate al presente, distogliete il vostro pensiero dal futuro come se lo steste togliendo dalla tentazione. Riposate in me, credendo nella mia bont\u00e0, e vi prometto con il mio amore che se dite: &#8220;Occupatene tu&#8221;, ci penser\u00f2 io a tutto; vi consoler\u00f2, vi liberer\u00f2 e vi guider\u00f2. <\/em><br><br><strong>Giorno 9<\/strong><br><em>Pregate in modo da essere sempre pronti ad affidarvi e ne riceverete grande pace e grandi ricompense, anche quando vi conferir\u00f2 la grazia dell&#8217;immolazione, del pentimento e dell&#8217;amore. Che importanza ha allora la sofferenza? La tua situazione ti sembra impossibile? Chiudete gli occhi e dite con tutta la vostra l&#8217;anima: &#8220;Ges\u00f9, pensaci tu&#8221;. Non temete, mi prender\u00f2 cura di tutte le cose e voi benedirete il mio nome facendo un atto di umilt\u00e0. Mille preghiere non valgono un solo atto di abbandono fatto bene, ricordatelo bene questo. Leave the care of your affairs to me and everything will be peaceful. I say to you in truth that every act of true, blind, complete surrender to me products the effect that you desire and resolves all difficult situations.<\/em><br\/><br\/><strong>Day 2<\/strong><br\/><em>Surrender to me does not mean to fret, to be upset, or to lose hope, nor does it mean offering to me a worried prayer asking me to follow you and change your worry into prayer. In pain you pray for me to act, but that I act in the way you want. You do not turn to me, instead, you want me to adapt your ideas. You are not sick people who ask the doctor how to. So do not act this way, but pray as I taught you in the Our Father: \u201cHallowed be thy Name,\u201d that is, be glorified in my need. \u201cThy kingdom come,\u201d that is, let all that is in us and in the world be in accord with your kingdom. \u201cThy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven,\u201d that is, in our need, decide as you see fit for our temporal and eternal life. Do you see that the sick person is getting worse? Satan tries to do exactly this: to agitate you and to remove you from my protection and to throw you into the jaws of human initiative. I sow treasure troves of graces when you are in deepest poverty. No person of reason, no thinker, has ever performed miracles, not even among the saints. He does divine works whosoever surrenders to God. So don\u2019t think about it any more, because your mind is acute and for you it is very hard to see evil and to trust in me and to not think of yourself. Do this for all your needs, do this, all of you, and you will see great continual silent miracles. I say to you in truth that every act of true, blind, complete surrender to me products the effect that you desire and resolves all difficult situations.<\/em><br\/><br\/><strong>Day 2<\/strong><br\/><em>Surrender to me does not mean to fret, to be upset, or to lose hope, nor does it mean offering to me a worried prayer asking me to follow you and change your worry into prayer. It is against this surrender, deeply against it, to worry, to be nervous and to desire to think about the consequence of anything.\u00a0<\/em><br\/><br\/><em>It is like the confusion that children feel when they ask their mother to see their needs, and then try to take care of those needs for themselves so that their childlike efforts get in their mother\u2019s way. Surrender means to placidly close the eyes of the soul, to turn away from thoughts of tribulation and to put yourself in my care, so that only I act, saying, \u201cYou take care of it.<\/em><br\/><br\/><strong>Day 3<\/strong><br\/><em>How many things I do when the soul, in so much spiritual and material need, turns to me, looks at me and says to me, \u201cYou take care of it,\u201d then closes its eyes and rests. In pain you pray for me to act, but that I act in the way you want. You do not turn to me, instead, you want me to adapt your ideas. You are not sick people who ask the doctor how to. So do not act this way, but pray as I taught you in the Our Father: \u201cHallowed be thy Name,\u201d that is, be glorified in my need. \u201cThy kingdom come,\u201d that is, let all that is in us and in the world be in accord with your kingdom. \u201cThy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven,\u201d that is, in our need, decide as you see fit for our temporal and eternal life. If you say to me truly: \u201cThy will be done,\u201d which is the same as saying: \u201cYou take care of it,\u201d I will intervene with all my omnipotence, and I will resolve the most difficult situations.<\/em><br\/><br\/><strong>Day 4<\/strong><br\/><em>You see evil growing instead of weakening? Do not worry. Close your eyes and say to me with faith: \u201cThy will be done, You take care of it.\u201d I say to you that I will take care of it, and that I will intervene as does a doctor and I will accomplish miracles when they are needed. Do you see that the sick person is getting worse? Do not be upset, but close your eyes and say, \u201cYou take care of it.\u201d I say to you that I will take care of it, and that there is no medicine more powerful than my loving intervention. By my love, I promise this to you.<\/em><br\/><br\/><strong>Day 5<\/strong><br\/><em>And then I must lead you on a path different from the one you see, I will prepare you; I will carry you in my arms; I will let you find yourself, like children who have fallen asleep in their mother\u2019s arms, on the other bank of the river. What troubles you and hurts you immensely are you reason, your thoughts and worry, and your desire at all costs to deal with what afflicts you.\u00a0<\/em><br\/><br\/><strong>Day 6\u00a0<\/strong><br\/><em>You are sleepless; you want to judge everything, direct everything and see to everything and you surrender to human strength, or worse \u2013 to men themselves, trusting in their intervention \u2013 this is what hinders my words and my views. Oh, how much I wish from you this surrender, to help you; and how I suffer when I see you so agitated! Satan tries to do exactly this: to agitate you and to remove you from my protection and to throw you into the jaws of human initiative. So, trust only in me, rest in me, surrender to me in everything.\u00a0<\/em><br\/><br\/><strong>Day 7\u00a0<\/strong><br\/><em>I perform miracles in proportion to your full surrender to me and to your not thinking of yourselves. I sow treasure troves of graces when you are in deepest poverty. No person of reason, no thinker, has ever performed miracles, not even among the saints. He does divine works whosoever surrenders to God. So don\u2019t think about it any more, because your mind is acute and for you it is very hard to see evil and to trust in me and to not think of yourself. Do this for all your needs, do this, all of you, and you will see great continual silent miracles. I will take care of things, I promise this to you.<\/em><br\/><br\/><strong>Day 8\u00a0<\/strong><br\/><em>Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away on the flowing current of my grace; close your eyes and do not think of the present, turning your thoughts away from the future just as you would from temptation. Repose in me, believing in my goodness, and I promise you by my love that if you say, \u201cYou take care of it,\u201d I will take care of it all; I will console you, liberate you and guide you.\u00a0<\/em><br\/><br\/><strong>Day 9<\/strong><br\/><em>Pray always in readiness to surrender, and you will receive from it great peace and great rewards, even when I confer on you the grace of immolation, of repentance, and of love. Then what does suffering matter? It seems impossible to you? Close your eyes and say with all your soul, \u201cJesus, you take care of it.\u201d Do not be afraid, I will take care of things and you will bless my name by humbling yourself. A thousand prayers cannot equal one single act of surrender, remember this well.
