“Habemus papam!” Join us in this historic and joyful moment as we welcome Pope Leo XIV, the first pope born in the United States and the first Peruvian citizen to lead the Catholic Church. We’ll get to know Pope Leo through stories, prayers, and reflections that reveal his heart for Christ and His people. Together, we'll unite in prayer for the new Holy Father and the Church he now shepherds.

    1A New PopeWe join together to welcome the new Bishop of Rome and Pope of the Catholic Church: Pope Leo XIV. After an introduction by Hallow CEO Alex, we'll reflect on the powerful roots of the papacy and meditate on the first public words spoken by Pope Leo.

    2Early LifeIn our first session, we reflected on the gift that Christ gave us by leaving a visible shepherd for the Church, established through St. Peter. Today, we'll journey to the south side of Chicago to learn more about Pope Leo’s early life.

    3MissionaryIn this session, we'll explore Pope Leo XIV's call to the priesthood and his first missionary assignment as a member of the Order of St. Augustine. We'll reflect on how the charisms of his community have shaped his priestly ministry.

    4ShepherdToday, we continue our look into the life of Pope Leo XIV during his time as Bishop of Chiclayo, leading his flock through unexpected challenges. Then, we'll conclude our time praying with an excerpt from his first homily to the College of Cardinals.

    5SuccessorAs we continue our look at Pope Leo XIV, today's session explores his episcopal motto “In the One, we are one.” We'll then meditate on the words from the Holy Father's recent address on how we can join together in a mission for peace in the world.

    6Papal NameA Papal name has become a way for a pontiff to signal something about his identity, inspirations, and hopes for the Church. In this session, we will look at the influence of Pope Leo XIII and St. Leo the Great before praying with an excerpt from Pope Leo XIII’s “Rerum Novarum.”

    7Litany for the PopeIn our final session, we will close with a Litany of the Saints, including saints to whom Pope Leo is personally devoted and saints from his native United States and Peru.
