This summer, Hallow returns to Franciscan University (Steubenville, Ohio) for the Hallow Summit—and we hope you’ll be among the hundreds of people who join us in coming together in prayer and fellowship.
What is the Hallow Summit?
I got the idea for the Hallow Summit after attending a different prayer conference. I felt a great high—like I could take on the world. But then, after the conference was over, that feeling quickly vanished.
It felt like I had the support of all the Heavenly host during the conference, and then suddenly, I was on my own again in the “real world.”
I wanted to create an experience that was meaningful and impactful, but that also strengthened my practical understanding of how to pray after the conference was over. The Hallow Summit is our take on that goal.
The Hallow Summit feels like part conference, part retreat. The goal is not just to talk about prayer, but to actually bring about an encounter with the Lord.
We will focus on the techniques of prayer, like Lectio Divina and the Examen, but we’ll also incorporate panels, breakout sessions, and musical performances. In order to bring this weekend to life, we will be inviting some of the best talent to be our guides (see who below). Additionally, we will host Masses, make confession available and present the blessed sacrament in adoration.
When is the Hallow Summit?
The Hallow Summit runs from Aug. 2-4 in Steubenville, Ohio at Franciscan University.
Who can attend?
The ideal attendee is someone who has a desire to grow deeper in their faith life and is at least 18 years old.
That’s it.
We welcome folks of all backgrounds regardless of where you are on your faith journey. We ask that you bring an open heart and are ready to receive what God has in store for you this wonderful weekend.
Please consider joining us!
