Hallow’s Advent Pray25 Prayer Challenge: For God So Loved the World

In 2024, prepare your heart for Christmas and rediscover the wonder of Christ’s coming into this world and into our hearts by joining Advent Pray25.

The theme of this year’s challenge is “For God So Loved the World,” from John 3:16.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.” ~ John 3:16

We’ll dive deep into the real meaning behind this verse and how it brings to life so beautifully the depth of God’s love for us – a love so heartbreakingly deep that He gives us, at Christmas, His only Son, knowing the life He was leading Him to.

This Advent, we’ll be joined by…

  • Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus in The Chosen, will lead us in prayer and powerful reflection on A Severe Mercy
  • Bear Grylls, British adventurer and survivalist from Man vs. Wild, will read passages from the book A Severe Mercy, a beautiful, true story following Sheldon Vanauken and his wife, Davy, as they explore and convert to Christianity with the help of their friend C.S. Lewis
  • Sr. Agnus Dei, SV, will lead us in a reflection on God’s everlasting and healing love and pray the Litany of Let Love with us each week
  • Biblical scholar Jeff Cavins and Francis Chan, author of Crazy Love, will share incredible reflections on Scripture
  • Catholic Actor Kevin James will sit down with Jonathan Roumie and Fr. Chrysostom Baer to discuss Divine Intimacy, an incredible book of Carmelite meditations, to bring this spiritual classic to life every Sunday
  • Fr. David Santos and more special guests will share real-life testimonies of God’s love in their lives

You can also join Gwen Stefani, Lauren Daigle, Matt Maher, and Sarah Kroger in the Advent Pray25 challenge!

Each Saturday this Advent, we’ll encounter God’s love through music, starting with an original Christmas song by Gwen Stefani, three-time Grammy Award winner and coach on The Voice. It’s a beautiful song centered around God’s love, perfect to cap off our first week of Advent together.

We’ll also be joined by two-time Grammy Award-winning artist and the biggest Christian Music artist in the world, the incredible Lauren Daigle, who will share both a powerful song and her testimony of encountering God’s love

The waitlist is now open. Make the courageous decision to allow God into your life and discover a love that satisfies more than anything this world has to offer
