June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Celebrated specifically on June 16, the Sacred Heart represents the love of Jesus as both fully human and fully divine. As Pope Ven. Pius XII said, “It is altogether impossible to enumerate the heavenly gifts which devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus has poured out on the souls of the faithful, purifying them, offering them heavenly strength, rousing them to the attainment of all virtues.” We also celebrate the Solemnities of the Most Holy Trinity and Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, as well as the Memorial of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in the month of June.
