Hallow announced today that they will release the first installment of the app’s Audio Bible with Jonathan Roumie, the actor who plays Jesus in The Chosen. Alongside daily Gospel readings, users can enjoy introductions and commentary for each Gospel from theologian and author Dr. Edward Sri, as well as speaker and biblical scholar Dr. Mary Healy.
The challenge was designed with flexibility in mind. Each session covers a few chapters in about twenty minutes. Listeners can pray at the same time each day with Hallow’s recently launched Routines functionality, or whenever they get the chance while on vacation or with family and friends. Overall, the Hallow team hopes this Gospel challenge reignites daily prayer routines this summer through listening and meditating on the Word of God.
The 30-Day Gospel Challenge
Hallow’s Gospel Challenge guides listeners through all four of the Gospels in just thirty days. The Challenge follows the traditional Biblical order of the Gospels — Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Each day, Jonathan Roumie narrates a few chapters of the Gospels from users to reflect on, meditate with, and grow in their walk with Jesus. Furthermore, Hallow is offering a downloadable Study Guide for individual or group study of the Gospels to support reflection outside of prayer time. Anyone can download the guide here.
