    Heart of Jesus
Join Matt Fradd and Sr. Maria Goretti on a 12-day journey into the Heart of Jesus, where God's love becomes real, personal, and transformative. As we approach the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart on June 12, we will step into the mystery of Christ's love revealed through His life, death, and resurrection to find a love that is not distant but draws near to heal and restore our lives. Guided by themes from Matt Fradd's book, "Jesus Our Refuge," and rooted in a devotion cherished since the early Church, this challenge invites you not just to understand God's love, but to encounter it and discover a place of rest in the Heart that burns for you. 1Into the Heart of JesusJoin Matt Fradd and Sr. Maria Goretti for Day 1 of our Heart of Jesus challenge. Through stories of saints, sinners, and life-changing, personal encounters with Christ, you'll discover a Heart that beats for you and longs to give you rest.
Day 1: Matt and Sr. Maria
2Loved by the FatherJourney back to Eden and discover how Jesus reveals the true Heart of the Father, not as distant, disappointed, or disapproving, but deeply personal, merciful, and overflowing with love for you.
Day 2: Matt and Sr. Maria11 min
3In Need of RescueToday we confront the reality of sin, not as something trivial, but something that wounds the heart of God. Through Scripture we discover why we are truly in need of rescue and how deeply Jesus longs to save us.
Day 3: Matt and Sr. Maria
4The Shepherd SeeksToday, we enter the Parable of the Lost Sheep and discover how God does not wait for us to find our way back to Him. He actively and urgently seeks us out. There is no distance, failure, or darkness that can stop the Shepherd from seeking your heart.
Day 4: Matt and Sr. Maria
5Friend of SinnersToday, Jesus draws near to sinners and calls them friends. In Him, we see a radically personal God who doesn't wait for us to be worthy before inviting us into relationship with Him. [Please note: session contains themes of alcohol and pornography.]
Day 5: Matt and Sr. Maria
6Stories of Refuge, Pt. 1Today we will hear a real life story of refuge from Sister Maria Goretti of the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart in Los Angeles.
      Day 6: Sr. Maria Goretti
7Stories of Refuge, Pt. 2Today we will hear a real life story of refuge from Ana Munley, wife, mother, and Catholic content creator.
      Day 7: Ana Munley
8Return to the FatherAs we begin week 2 of our challenge, we reflect on the story of the Good Thief, St. Dismas, and discover the beauty of repentance. No matter how far we wander, the Heart of Jesus remains open to us, willing to welcome us home.
Day 8: Matt and Sr. Maria
9A Heart DividedToday, we confront the false refuges we seek instead of God. Scripture and the wisdom of St. Augustine reveal why our hearts remain restless and how only Jesus can truly satisfy them. [Please note: this session contains mention of sexual content.]
Day 9: Matt and Sr. Maria
10Protected from the StormToday, we step into the storm with Peter on the waves to truly understand what it means to remain with Jesus amid fear, suffering, and uncertainty. God doesn't always calm the storm, but He never stops reaching for us and protecting us through it.
Day 10: Matt and Sr. Maria
11Refuge of the HeartHoliness isn't about striving harder, but surrendering deeply. Today, we look to the example of St. Therese of Lisieux and reflect on what it means to make the Heart of Jesus our true refuge, allowing His love to carry us.
Day 11: Matt and Sr. Maria
12Abiding in the Sacred HeartOn the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, we're invited not just to receive Christ's love, but surrender our whole lives in return. Like Mary of Bethany, we discover what it means to hold nothing back from the Heart that poured Itself out for us.
Day 12: Matt and Sr. Maria
