Hallow’s Advent prayer challenge, Pray 25, begins on Monday, Dec. 1.
Each year, Pray25 invites folks to take a step back from the chaos of the holiday season and take a step close to God.
This Advent, we invite you to discover deeper stillness amidst the chaos of the holiday season, just as Mary did that first Christmas.
Pray25: Be Still offers the opportunity to put aside holiday stress and allow God to transform our hearts through prayer.
Jonathan Roumie and Sr. Miriam will lead reflections on The Reed of God to begin each week, and award-winning actor and producer Chris Pratt will guide sessions on The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry each Friday.
Gwen Stefani and Mother Natalia join Pray25 with sessions focusing on being still, using the lives of saints as inspiration.
Fr. John Burns will guide listeners through sessions of imaginative prayer, while Fr. Pierre Toussaint will offer homily reflections each Sunday during Advent.
Hallow’s Advent content will also feature O Come, O Come Emmanuel, which invites listeners to pause, enter into a spirit of longing, and prepare their hearts for the coming of Jesus at Christmas through prayerfully reflecting on the ancient hymn O Come, O Come Emmanuel through the singing voice of Michael Iskander, who plays David in the hit Amazon show “House of David.” Actor Mario Lopez and singer Lauren Daigle will also participate.
Hallow will also offer a Kids Advent 2025 challenge: “Finding Fiat,” perfect for families looking to spend more time in prayer with children.
This marks the seventh rendition of Pray25 and more than 200,000 people around the world have already joined the challenge, making it the largest Advent prayer challenge Hallow has done to date.
“This time of year is often so overwhelmed with busyness and noise when it’s really supposed to be about something else. About Christ, about us waiting for the Lord to send His only Son for us,” said Alex Jones, Hallow CEO and co-founder. “We wanted to give folks the space to just Be Still with the Lord this Advent season. To rest, to pray, to sit in silence.”
“So that’s the challenge this year – Be Still. That’s it. 25 days of us just learning from some incredible saints, theologians, authors who have meditated on stillness and resting with the Lord. Can’t wait for you to join us. Probably is going to be our biggest challenge yet.”
The waitlist is now open. Make the courageous decision to allow God into your life and discover a love that satisfies more than anything this world has to offer.
