Hallow Partners With Saint Francis University to Support Faith Lives of Students, Teachers and Administrators

Hallow Partners with St. Francis University

CHICAGO, Oct. 25, 2023 – Hallow, the No. 1 Christian prayer app, today announced a partnership with Saint Francis University (Loretto, Pa.) to support the spiritual lives and mental health of the school’s community.

The new relationship will bring access to Hallow’s entire library of prayer, meditation, sleep and music resources free of charge for students and faculty at Saint Francis.

“Saint Francis University is excited to partner with Hallow in offering our community members access to this transformative app,” said Fr. Stephen Mary Waruszewski, Director of Campus Ministry. “As an institution guided by the principles of St. Francis of Assisi, we recognize the importance of nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of our students, faculty, and staff.”

Hallow continues to rise in popularity with young people and those of all ages, becoming the No. 3 most downloaded app in the App Store during Ash Wednesday earlier this year.

The app offers a wide range of resources, including:

  • Daily prayer series focused on Scripture, to help establish daily prayer habits
  • Content developed by Catholic mental health professional on topics such as stress, anxiety, relationships, grief and addiction
  • Prayers for athletes, featuring Harrison Butker of the Kansas City Chiefs and others
  • Mental health content developed with Catholic experts on social and emotional well-being
  • Inspirational reflections on Scripture from Fr. Pete McCormick, C.S.C., Director of Campus Ministry at the University of Notre Dame

“We are incredibly excited to be able to support the oldest Catholic-Franciscan college in the United States in continuing to develop a culture focused on faith, respect, and joy,” said Hallow co-founder Alessandro DiSanto. “Building a life focused on both contemplation and action is one of the central aspects of Franciscan spirituality and is exactly what the Hallow app aims to help inspire in the life of our users.”

As one of the oldest Catholic universities in the United States, Saint Francis University has been educating students with a focus on Franciscan values since 1847.

Saint Francis becomes one of the latest universities to partner with Hallow, which previously launched successful partnerships with Franciscan University of Steubenville and the University of Notre Dame.
