Advent Pray25 with C.S. Lewis feat. Liam Neeson & Jonathan Roumie

No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened.

– C.S. Lewis, The Great Divorce

Surrender it all this Advent season and prepare your heart for Jesus like never before with readings from the works of C.S. Lewis, voiced by award-winning actor and the voice of Aslan in the Narnia movies, Liam Neeson.

In 2023, prepare your heart for Christmas and rediscover the wonder of Christ’s coming into this world and into our hearts by joining Advent Pray25.

Liam Neeson, Jonathan Roumie, and an incredible nun will guide you in daily prayer for four weeks of Advent with reflections based on different works of Lewis, including The Four Loves, Mere Christianity, The Great Divorce, and more.

The Three Comings of Christ

Advent Pray 25 will focus on the three comings of Christ: personally into each of our hearts, His Second Coming at the end of time, and as an infant in Bethlehem.

The daily prayer challenge will help you slow down and find quiet this Advent. In this quiet, Advent Pray 25 will help you see how the desires of your heart point to far more and greater than what the world offers.

“Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin, and decay. But look for Christ and you will find Him, and with Him everything else thrown in.” – C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

Helping Children Prepare for Advent, too

With the launch of Advent Pray25 with C.S. Lewis, we’re also thrilled to announce Advent resources specifically for children.

Be a Heart’s Mary on the Mantel, an alternative to “Elf on the Shelf,” serves as the inspiration for this year’s Advent Kids’ challenge. Children will rediscover Mary and learn how she was chosen by God, what a gift Jesus is to the world, and encourage children of all ages to pray with her.
